What is the Henna?? What does Henna mean for the traditional Bedouin body decoration?? It  is a traditional form of body art which has been used to adorn young women’s bodies as part of both social and holiday celebrations for thousands of years. It uses a natural dye made from leaves of the Henna plant and other natural ingredients to create individual markings and patterns on the skin. Besides being an integral part of wedding ceremonies across the Middle Eastern region, henna was also used to celebrate births, blessings and battle victories. It is also considered to have therapeutic and cooling effects on the skin.
